A lifelong resident of Welland, Ontario, Lori is a graduate of Herzing Institute in Computer Programming. After working 10 years as a Data Processor and Computer Analyst in the Niagara Region manufacturing industries, Lori transitioned into Office Administration and worked for Bujold Colburn Employee Benefits Agency for over 29 years. Continuing as a Client Care Specialist with Green Benefits Group’s administrative team, Lori is a first point of contact for clients in general service, administrative, and claims concerns. Lori also manages quarterly contacts and renewals for our advisors. Finally, Lori oversees the implementation of new plans and coordination of transfers to new carriers.
Jennifer is responsible for handling various accounts held by all GBG Advisors. Bringing extensive knowledge and insight, Jennifer has previous experience working for a large corporate benefit consulting firm, which helps her understand the needs of both employers and employees. She also is an experienced account manager and appreciates the daily tasks and analytical nature of working directly with our clients.
With many years of experience in the benefits industry, Patti began her career working for a large insurance company and then moved to the advisor side over 15 years ago. Patti specializes in solving account matters quickly and provides a high quality of customer service. Outside work, she in involved with different charitable organizations (Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation, and was the past president of the Burlington Minor Lacrosse Association). While enjoying time spent with her family and friends, Patti likes to travel, hike, golf, and generally follows amateur and professional sports, especially lacrosse and hockey.
With more than 30 years of experience in pension and benefits and a background of consulting experience with Cowan Insurance Group and Hewitt Associates (now Aon), Paul works with our pension clients to ensure their retirement savings programs continue to meet their strategic needs and the engagement needs of their people. He believes good governance, ongoing communication with employees, and targeted education is the key to a successful retirement program. Previously, Paul developed a client’s perspective when he worked in HR at PwC where he was responsible for their Pension, Benefits and Wellness programs. Paul is a former member of the ACPM’s Ontario Regional Council and is currently a member of FSRA’s DC Advisory Committee on Pensions. Paul volunteers his time as a Member of the Community Foundation of Mississauga’s Corporate Partnership Committee, Chair of their Annual Golf Tournament and for the Shoebox Project.
With over 30 years of experience in employee benefits and finance, Ian works with our small business clients to ensure their benefits program continues to meet their strategic needs, as well as engage their staff. He believes good governance, ongoing communication with employees, and targeted education is the key to a successful benefits program. Having previously worked for a major insurer and other benefit brokerages, Ian has a well-rounded knowledge of both the insurance industry and the brokerage/client side of employee benefits.
Melanie has two decades of experience in the benefits industry – many of these years working exclusively with the small business market. Receiving her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation in 2013 and actively working towards obtaining her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), she enjoys working with clients to provide solutions, answer questions and help educate their workforce. Always approachable and resourceful, Melanie is an integral part of the GBG family and helps our organization run at maximum efficiency and productivity.
Born and raised in Brantford, Ontario, Keaton forged his career in the insurance industry over several years. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Financial Economics and a brief career playing professional hockey, Keaton worked on the pricing committee at a national insurance company where he spent time in Ontario and British Columbia as an employee benefits specialist. During that time, he obtained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. In 2017, he joined the dynamic team at Green Benefits Group so he could deal directly with organizations and provide customized solutions on his client’s behalf. Since then, Keaton has become a partner in Green Benefits Group and continues to help further grow the business. Today, Keaton and his extended family reside in Brantford and continue to advocate on behalf of local organizations.
