AbilitiCBT: A Government-Sponsored Mental Health Program
Morneau Shepell has partnered with the Ontario and Manitoba governments to provide free mental health support to residents during the COVID-19 pandemic through AbilitiCBT: an internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy.
This virtual platform is designed to help people develop skills and strategies to address symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression. It can help people cope with challenges specifically related to COVID-19, including isolation, caring for family and community members, information overload, and stress.
